Kodir Rakhimov was born in 1956 in Dushanbe (Tajikistan). In 1984 he graduated from the University of Art of Tajikistan. From 1985 he became a participant of art exhibitions and creative groups. Since 1986 he has been living and working in Moscow. In 1987 he became a Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. From 1988 till 1990 he was an under-graduate of the Union of Artists of the USSR (teacher V.Brainin). In 1994 he became the laureate of the 1-st prize of Chagall festival in Vitebsk (Belarus). In 1999, author of project, the “Tee house Boulder Dushanbe” in Boulder, Colorado, USA
